Pashto Linguist Currently, we offer translator /interpreter positions in Afghanistan. Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: Ø Native or Near-Native Language Fluency (speaking, in both English and Afghan Languages); Ø United States Citizenship (US-born or Naturalized); Ø Security Clearance: background check on criminal record, financial record, and also, verification of other personal data; Ø Medical Examination, evidencing that you are physically fit for the job; and Ø Age (various job positions have certain age requirements). Our company offers an excellent salary and benefits package for our sub-contracting positions (contract is for a 6-months period with the option to extend) which is as follows: Monthly Salary is starting at $8,000, plus $3,000 down-range pay; Free Lodging and Meals (US Military Installations); Medical Health Insurance; Life Insurance; Travel expenses (round-trip); Per-diem rates ($40 while traveling to and from CRC); and Excellent, rewarding professional experience as a translator and /or interpreter.
