Mechanical Engineer Our client, one of the premier construction companies currently working in Afghanistan, have asked us to identify a Mechanical Engineer for a major mixed use development in Gardez. The project in question is a complete military installation including roads, buildings and other associated infrastructure. We are keen to speak with candidates that have experience of working in a similar environment, Afghanistan or Iraq would be ideal. These are key roles within the project, so you must be well educated, degree level, and have excellent communication skills. Pre requisites for this role include a degree, and at least 5 years commercial experience, with past experience of working in Afghanistan or Iraq, for the Corps of Engineers ( USACE ), or other US military forces.
