| Finished Goods Warehouse Manager (Bakery) WESTERN APPLICANTS ONLY (USA, UK, EU, AUS) To ensure that only the highest quality manufactured goods leave the bakery. Manage all staff, so the department is run in an efficient manner. Install new procedures so the department has a consistent approach to Quality Control. Duties and Responsibilities: To provide direction and leadership for your staff. Focus the department on Quality Control and introduce procedures as required. Ensure that all orders are packed as per specifications. Ensure orders are delivered in full on time. Conform with all Health and Safety regulations. Ensure all MHE is used as per agreed standards. Provide training in HACCP and Food safety when required. The ability to manage a multicultural workforce where English is often a second or third language. Follow the principle 100% quality 100% of the time, and encourage all staff to support this core value. Essential Skills and Qualifications: The successful applicant will have the ability to manage a number of competing prioritize, such as cost control and end product quality. Good understanding of the baking process. While not essential it would be advantages to have an in-depth knowledge about the science of baking resulting from a trade qualification. Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language. A proven track record in driving GMP and HACCP within a food manufacturing environment, or similar independently audited quality control program such as ISO standards. The ability to work independently when required. | |
