Operations Manager We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to be initially based in Afghanistan to provide co-ordinated Contract services as part of Client contract. Operations Manager will be Required in Kabul, Afghanistan initially but company operates in a number of worldwide areas so candidate must be prepared to travel as required. Salary for this position is $6000 per month. This position is immediately available. Individual must have the ability to: 1. Ensure all task orders, projects and services are mobilized and delivered on schedule and: • Establish priorities to meet goals and objectives. • Plan service delivery activities and coordinate departmental activities with other departments; Anticipate any setbacks / difficulties and act to prevent or compensate • Task, supervise and manage subordinate personnel. • Attend performance evaluation and technical meetings. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key counterparts on client side. • Direct the investigation and correction of customer and operational complaints. • Hold regular staff meetings to track progress on outstanding tasks and assign new tasks. • Track deliverables and reporting, ensure both physical operations and the paper trail are in line with procedures and objectives. • Prepare emergency call-out response plans and maintain capability in place at all times. • Ensure that the SOP and the SOR are strictly followed and that target KPI are achieved • QC visits, spot checks and site inspections on all task sites, regular visits as well as occasional unannounced inspections. Follow-up reports and recommendations. WHAT DO YOU NEED The successful candidate should have a university degree with a major in engineering or at least eight years of full time experience performing engineering or operations and maintenance work in the utility service field, at least four of which was in a supervisory or administrative capacity. Registration as a professional engineer is desirable. Company is seeking highly motivated personnel who are able to operate autonomously, have great leadership and management skills and can work in a remote environment.
