| Supply Technician, Receiving Supervisor The Receiving Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Specialist. The Supply Receiving Technician will have experience with the receipt of all different classes of military materials, ranging from consumable to hazardous materials. The Supply Receiving Technician will provide daily briefings and reports to the Warehouse Specialist showing the number of line items and units received the previous day and any issues that arose with the materials received. The Supply Receiving Technician will write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to cover all tasks and requirements that pertain to the Receiving Functional Area. The Supply Receiving Technician will conduct training for all Receiving Department personnel to instruct and train them on all information that is contained in the SOP. The Supply Receiving Technician will follow-up and make sure that the DD Form 577 on file with the Contracting Officer or COR is current and updated when employees depart or new employees arrive on the project. Any Receiving employee that applies or removes seals from inbound carriers must be named on the DD577. The Supply Receiving Technician will report any Carrier related discrepancies, to include material received in error, by preparing and submitting a Transportation Discrepancy Report (TDR) SF 361 in accordance with (IAW) DoD 4500.9-R, DTR ,Part II, Cargo Movement: Chapter 210, TDR; and Appendix I, TDR Instructions. The Supply Receiving Technician will attach documented facts and firm evidence such as photos and affidavits from witnesses, which establish carrier liability and the actual amount of the Government’s loss. The Supply Receiving Technician will prepare a Supply Discrepancy Report SF 364, for any shipping, packing, or transportation discrepancies, which may include incomplete, illegible, misplaced markings or misidentified items IAW paragraph C-5.2.1.4.1, SDRs. | |
