Supply Technician, Inventory Supervisor - The Inventory Supervisor will report directly to the Warehouse Specialist. The Inventory Supervisor will have a vast knowledge of military inventory processes and procedures. The Supply Inventory Technician will write SOPs for all inventory operations and provide training to all Inventory Functional Area personnel that will give the staff the necessary knowledge and processes to follow so that all requirements outlined in the APLs are met or exceeded. The Supply Inventory Technician will ensure that the Physical Inventory Control Program (PICP) is followed to maintain integrity in mission stock asset balances. The Supply Inventory Technician will provide daily briefings to the Warehouse Specialist to describe ongoing operations and advise the Warehouse Specialist on any issues that require the Warehouse Specialist’s attention or resolution from Project Management. The Supply Inventory Technician will monitor inventory schedules to ensure that the schedules are followed and any reconciliation to correct accountable record imbalances are completed. The Supply Inventory Technician will assign different Inventory personnel to conduct second physical counts if generated by DSS for uncontrolled and controlled items. The Supply Inventory Technician will assign inventory teams to conduct location surveys between what is physically on hand in location and what balance is recorded in the locator record data contained in DSS. The location surveys will be conducted IAW the Location Survey Schedule submitted 30 calendar days prior to the conclusion of the phase-in period.
