Supply Technician, Issuing Supervisor

The Issuing Supervisor will report directly to the Warehouse Specialist. The Issuing Supervisor will have a vast knowledge of military issuing processes and procedures.
The Supply Issuing Technician will provide daily briefings to the Warehouse Specialist to describe ongoing operations and advise the Warehouse Specialist on any issues that require the Warehouse Specialist’s attention or resolution from Project Management.
The Supply Issuing Technician will distribute MROs, DROs, and RDOs/STOs to the Issuing Foremen so the materials can be picked from their DSS assigned locations and then moved to the Shipping and Packing Department to be packed and prepared for local delivery or shipment.
The Supply Issuing Technician will assign a designated team that their first priority is to issue priority requests, such as walkthrough requisitions, Not Mission Capable Supply/ Partially Mission Capable Supply (NMCS/PMCS), Not Operational
Requisition Supply/ Anticipated Not Operational Requisition Supply (NORS/ANORS) and any other priority requests as received.
The Supply Issuing Technician will establish a MRO monitoring system to extract and process MROs received after normal duty hours.
The Supply Issuing Technician will task one of the Issuing Functional Area personnel to track research and resolve over aged MROs which have not been fully processed and completed.
The Supply Issuing Technician must ensure the Issuing Functional Area staff is utilizing the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle when selecting materials to be pulled for issuing or shipping.
The Supply Issuing Technician must direct his staff to track down and pull materials back from the Shipping and Packing
Department when issue cancellation notifications are received from the requisitioning owner or Item Manager (IM).
The Supply Issuing Technician will write SOPs for all issuing operations and provide training to all Issuing Functional Area personnel that will give the staff the necessary knowledge and processes to follow so that all requirements outlined in the
APLs are met or exceeded.
