Hazardous Material Handling Specialist Hazardous Material Handling Specialist- reports directly to the Storage Supply Technician. The Hazardous Materials Handling Specialist provides training on receiving, handling, storing, packing and shipping HAZMAT materials to all Receiving, Storage, Issuing and Shipping and Packing personnel. The HAZMAT Specialist will conduct periodic inspections of HAZMAT storage areas and report any discrepancies found back to the Supply Storage Technician. The HAZMAT Specialist will either prepare or review all shipping documentation required for HAZAT materials prior to the material being dispersed.
